Botox & Injectable Fillers

Injectable neurotoxins or neuromodulators (Botox, Dysport, and Xeomin) work to smooth fine lines and wrinkles by temporarily relaxing muscles that are responsible for creating these fine lines and wrinkles. An important difference is that these neurotoxins work predominantly on dynamic wrinkles – the wrinkles that present when you use your facial muscles to create expression. Neurotoxins do not do much for static wrinkles which are those wrinkles that are seen even at rest. Botox can last from 2-6 months on average before you have to come back for a touch-up . Exercises or certain medications can wear off a little faster product.

Cosmetic fillers, such as Juvederm, Juvederm Voluma, Juvederm Ultra, Belotero, Restylane Silk, Radiesse, Sculptra, Restylane go further and can be used to lift cheeks, eliminate under eye bags and dark circles, erase smile lines, enhance the lips and get rid of vertical lip lines (smoker’s lines, lipstick lines). Fillers work on wrinkles seen at rest. “It’s important to understand that fillers can be used to strengthen the scaffolding that normally supports the skin. This scaffolding consists of collagen, fat, elastin, and hyaluronic acid,” which we have to replace when we naturally lose volume due to the aging process . Fillers are used to accomplish this and treat volume loss.
CHEEK DEFINITION
Cheek filler is the perfect way to lift the face and create facial harmonization . The face loses volume as we age, but filler is our secret to fill in lost volume and collagen. Many patients come in with the problem of heaviness around their mouth and they think they need filler in their smile lines, however they really need a mini lift with cheek filler which will help with smile lines .We recommend radiesse which is a calcium-based filler that mimics your cheekbone and adds the perfect amount of volume. Alternatives for cheek filler are Voluma or Restylane Lyft, which are both great for lifting and sculpting. All cheek fillers last 12+ months, although radiesse can last up to two years . However touch ups are recommended after 8 months.
JAWLINE SCULPTING
A strong jaw is a great way to balance and frame the face. Jawline filler is perfect to provide a cool, sculpted look and help you get every model’s angles that you’ve ever wanted! Jawline filler is also great to pull back on any sagging in the lower face and help you stay looking youthful as you age.
Recommendation for jawline is Radiesse, which is a strong filler and it’s perfect for providing a definition of the face . Another option for jawline filler is Voluma for softer definition . Jawline fillers last from 12 -24 months. Depending on your lifestyle working out and heavy lifting can speed up product metabolism.
LIP FILLER
The most popular fillers used for lip filler include Restylane kysse and Juvederm Ultra . These fillers are marketed to last for 1 year, and most patients return in 6 months for a touch-up.
UNDER EYE FILLER
Under eye fillers, also called tear trough fillers, are an increasingly popular way of addressing visible signs of aging around the eyes. It is a safe, non-surgical procedure that can help restore volume to areas where youthfulness may have been lost with age. Under eye filler treatment is
used to fill in the hollow area just beneath the eyes (tear trough area) where fat tends to naturally degrade as we get older, thereby diminishing fullness and causing wrinkles and dark circles.
